Performer Levels
We will rely on teacher judgment as to which level is best suited for their performers.
Novice: Designed for dancers who train less than 5 hours per week and have limited competition experience.
Competitive: Designed for dancers who train more than 5 hours per week and have competition experience.

Dance Styles
Ballet/Pointe ♦ Contemporary/Modern ♦ Hip Hop/Funk ♦ Jazz ♦ Lyrical ♦ Musical Theatre ♦ Open ♦ Tap

Performances may include two safely executed acrobatic moves or lifts. Props that are integral to the routine may used. Please use discretion when using props i.e. no dangerous props like weapons, fire, etc. Scenery that can be moved on and off stage with ease may be used for Productions numbers only.

Adjudication & Awards
Performers will have the opportunity to perform in front of a panel of three judges. Judges will provide verbal and written critiques for each routine to be picked up at the end of the event day. All judges decisions are final.

Judges will base their scores on the following:

Adjudication Criteria Percentage
Technique 40%
Choreography 30%
Performance/Showmanship 10%
Age-Appropriateness 10%
Overall Impression 10%

Family friendly performances are expected. If all three judges deem the performance to be inappropriate in music, costume and/or dance movement, the routine may be disqualified from the competition.
